As part of our commitment to developing and nurturing promising young talent, Handshakes is launching the 2026 Internship Programme. This programme offers students the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience while working on real product initiatives and learning from experienced professionals.

As a Product Management Intern, you will work on meaningful projects that contribute to the development and improvement of our products. You will collaborate with multiple teams, gain insight into how technology products are built and improved, and develop the skills needed for a future career in product management.

We are looking for individuals who are curious, analytical, and interested in working at the intersection of technology, data, and business strategy.

What You Will Do

• Lead product discovery research by conducting user interviews, competitor analysis, and market research to identify unmet needs across our KYC, due diligence, and data analytics products.
• Drive feature improvement initiatives by identifying friction points in existing products (App, Datamart, API), analysing user feedback, and translating insights into clear and prioritised feature recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data, Sales, and Client Success to align product requirements, communicate priorities, and support smooth feature delivery.

Requirements

We would like to hear from you if you:

• Are currently pursuing a Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or Management.
• Possess strong English communication skills, with the ability to write clear product documentation, research summaries, and stakeholder updates.
• Are a self-starter who takes initiative, identifies problems, and follows through on solutions.
• Demonstrate curiosity and analytical thinking, and are comfortable working with data and forming insights even with limited information.

Additional advantage:
Interest or exposure to fintech, RegTech, compliance, or APAC business data.
